RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 21-11-2017 14:06 Tubs Murphy was among the casualties on Day 1, along with Kyren Wilson and Anthony Hamilton. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 23-11-2017 07:48 Carter, Maguire, Liang Wenbo and Mark Allen have all fallen by the wayside now RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 24-11-2017 07:31 Ronnie lost in the afternoon, so Barry Hearn's £1m is safe again. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 25-11-2017 07:48 Mark Williams remains the only top player left, and meets Elliot Slessor today who won a mightily tedious 5.5 hour effort. I kept going back to sleep, that's how bad it was. Yan Bigface meets Lu Haotian in the other match. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 25-11-2017 16:15 Williams just beat Slessor RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 26-11-2017 07:51 Yan the Man got through comfortably. He's only 17. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Tractor boy - 26-11-2017 22:21 Congratulations to Mark Williams winning the northern Ireland open 9 - 8 against Yan Bintao RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 27-11-2017 08:16 I might have thought they wouldn't find as emotional a match & result as they did 12 months ago with Mark King, but they did it. Poor Mark Williams with his wife, the last man who needs that sort of X Factor sob story to go with, but to arise from 6-3 down to take it well in the decider is why he really is one of the all-time greats. All credit to Yan too, who must have set up 3-4 tough snookers at the end, still giving it his all. He ought to have won something before he gets to 20. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 11-12-2017 21:36 Judd Trump has got his act together at the Scawtish Open, with a whitewash. Maguire also came through in a whitewash. RE: Home Nations £1m tournament - Doddle - 12-12-2017 07:32 Defending champ Marco Fu and runner-up John Higgins also got through. But Barry Hawkins' bad run continued as he lost. |
