It's the third test today and England have made 3 changes. Buttler is in for Duckett, Woakes in for the injured Broad and Batty in for Ansari. England have won a crucial toss and needless to say are batting first.

Don't expect this match to last 5 days. There's variable bounch on day one.
Cook has been dropped twice (one was a sitter) and England are currently 51-1

First session to India as England are 92/4 at lunch. Variable bounce yes, but England have also played some not too good shots.

More self inflicted batting woe.
These top order collapses are happening too many times.

At the close England 268-8

I'm not happy with the battling lineup

Joe Root performs far better at no4. And you can't have a specialist batsman in Buttler batting at no7.

England badly need to find a new no3 batsman

Buttler's test average is only 30, so batting at no7 would be about right for him.

Anyway England have been bowled out for 283, adding only 15 this morning. India are no doubt satisfied with that.

At lunch India are 60-1
