Thinking of getting Gears Of War 2 but i havnt played the 1st one, anyone recomend it?

From what i've heard its very good as my mate has got gears of war 2 and completed it the other day. The average mark that the game has got was 9 out of ten, if i had a 360 i would buy it, both the first game and the 2nd one are very good, it depends if you like first person shoot em ups.

Let me know what you think of it when you get it. Another good game to get is call of duty 5, thats also a very good game, good graphics, and playing online i heard is very good too. I just hope the wii verison of call of duty 5 is half as good

got my copy of cod5 for the ps3 yesterday, looking like another good game, the online play is just as good as cod4, the dogs can be a bit of a bastard tho!

I saw the video review of that game looks well class, i was thinking about getting it on the wii, currently playing fifa 09 on the wii at the moment, won't sat what team am playing as lol
