That's very interesting about Danica as it shows a bit of a floor in the system , she had one of the biggest ever impacts on the babeshows she did more to bring people to the babeshows before or since and would count most of her daytime shows as legendary but she's never going to be in the hall of fame,
Maybe they be there needs to be a girl inducted every time who has not done the 5 years but still fits the bill of having made a really big impact on the shows, she could be picked by someone respected who's been here ages like skully or atleast a short list we could vote on, I know it's a bit late this year but something well worth thinking on for next year

Thank you winsaw it is certainly a idea we can consider for 2019

The 5 year rule is a bit rigid. And it not easy to establish who has and who hasn't worked the 5 years.
We are looking at a change to the rule for next year.
Why bother with rules if you just change them to fit people you want? Why bother voting at all? Just pick the people you want and have done bladewave Then why stop at 2 years? Maybe someone you like did 1 show and was amazing. What the hell, let's make them a HoFer!

Surely any rule bending is an insult to the many, many, many babes who DO qualify for having done 5 years! Rolleyes

^I repeat the 5 year rule is proving hard to establish.
The babeshows go back further than the forum.
That's why it needs looking at to see if there is a better alternative for next year.

I think the purpose of these rules is to avoid diluting the significance of the award by handing it out prematurely to someone that then turns out to have been a bit of a flash in the pan.

One way to do this might be to say that she has to have debuted at least 5 years ago and worked for at least 1 year. This would let the Danica Thralls in and with good reason. Even if she only worked for a brief period, if we are still talking about her 5 years later, then she must have had an impact.

^It is a fair point but as Charlemagne points out the shows themselves go back further than the forum itself. It might be something we can look at too ,but as he has said before it is tool ate to make any changes now but certainly one can consider for 2019

At the end of the day, only having 1 entrant per year means realistically 98% of candidates will never "get in". Setting criteria to make it difficult to win this achievement (which makes it special to do so), and yet then making it easy for people who don't pass the bar anyway, makes a mockery of the whole thing.
