That's because Pictures of bloody matchstick men is the only one of their songs you're allowed to like, because it doesn't sound anything like the Status Quo cliche they became with their chug-de-chug-de-chug rhythm.
And not to be confused with Brian & Michael's matchstick men epic obviously.
I was nearly gonna do Ice in the Sun, but then I remembered it belonged in a better thread now
. Both of these were top 10 hits and were nothing like the average Quo record.
