A very funny story from Sir Patrick Stewart on the Graham Norton Show:

Looks like Whoopi Goldberg will be reprising her role as Guinan in S2 of Picard

Well that was very different but familiar.

S1 Ep1 “Remembrance”

A fantastic first episode which reveals why Picard is no longer in Starfleet & how he ends up helping a mysterious young woman called Dahj (Isa Briones). Loved all the Easter eggs & references to TNG, Star Trek Nemesis, Insurrection & Star Trek (2009)

Already can’t wait for next week

Unable to watch this as don't have Netflix or Amazon Prime etc-can't see the point of so many new channels. Anyway like Star Trek Discovery I am hoping another satellite or terrestrial channel will show this when the first run is done.

I enjoyed it. Enough links to past Trek for the Trekkies to devour, including the big finale to the episode, but with a fresh modern feel (& new characters) that's taken and will take Jean-Luc in a new direction, whilst still upholding his ideals we've always loved.
