The long goodbye Serena did on court makes me believe this will be her last Australian Open

Djokovic v Medvedev in the Men's Final.

Joe Salisbury and friend beat Jamie Murray and friend to reach the Men's Doubles Final. But Salisbury and different friend lost their Mixed Doubles Semi-final.

Salisbury and his American partner Rajeev Ram are the reigning Mens Doubles champions too.
They face number 9 seeds Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Filip Polasek of Slovakia in the final on Sunday.
I wish the doubles got more coverage to be honest. I find it really good fun to watch.

Ram & Salisbury got beat in straight sets. Ah well, well done.

Djokovic beat a hapless Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2.

Just wonder if Wimbledon this year (if it goes ahead) will be the very last time we will see both Serena & Novak compete there. I def do think Sreen has to go for the French or Wimbledon to break the record of most grand slams for women and her final tournaml will likely be this years US Opewn I can't see herv going on after that. Same with Novak.

As he spent the entire tournament going "ooh I'm sick, ooh I'm old", it's all the more impressive.

Also Naomi Osaka did win her title yesterday, her 4th Grand Slam. Maybe in 20 wins time, the meedja might be impressed? They weren't here.

Osaka is the queen of Hardcourts but has done no better than 3rd round at either Roland Garros or Wimbledon

First Brit to take to the court in the 2022 event is Cameron Norrie who faces off against Sebastian Korda of the USA.
