Palace of Westminster apparently. Parliamentary business will be suspended until after the funeral.

Of the ones still working to schedule (Dave, ITV2 etc) there are regular prompts to turn to the news channels.

Since we are a Babe Channels Forum, for the record, on Sky TV. BS went off-air, for a time. whilst XP continued.
Not for me to judge.

^To be fair most channels outside of the main 5 plus the News Channels have carried on as normal. A few ran banners directing people to BBC/Sky News etc and only the shopping channels have stayed off air.

We will not witness such a steadfast service to our country again. King Charles is expected to address the nation some time today.

The train and postal strikes have been called off today out of respect for the Queen.

Question Would the new King summon Liz Truss to Buckingham Palace to re - ask her to form a Government the first of his reign? or having been appointed by the Queen would that be enough?

RE: The Royals - Charlemagne - 09-09-2022 08:06

A separate RIP thread has been created in the memoriam section and all relivent posts have been moved there.

Go and ask Google instead of asking a babe channel forum.
Why should members here have to find answers to your inane questions!

Do you have a feeling that we weren't fully informed about the Queen.
CNN managed to get a lead anchor over from the US to Balmoral and on the air by 5pm.
All the UK TV presenters were wearing black tie from about 4pm.

They'd all been told hours before it was offically announced.
