I thought we were on for another 0-0 today between France and Denmark but it livened up substantially in the second half. Mbappe is some player - outstanding skill.

Argentina and Mexico is tonight's late game. Argentina will be out if they lose.

edit: The man with the magic boots delivers for his country again. Arrow pass from di Maria, then the drag-back and a hammer shot on the half volley was sublime.

Just too good. Smile

Begium always boast that in Courtois they have the best keeper in the world. Well Morocco have found that he has a big weakness.

The Hennessey incident reminded me very much of the infamous Harald Schumacher foul on Patrick Battiston at the 1982 World Cup. The goalkeeper got away with it that time.

It wouldn't be the first time that Hennessey has been accused of impersonating a German. Some people may remember this controversial incident from a party in January 2019.

Piers Morgan says he got a text from Ronaldo after the match claiming that he did get a touch!

FIFA are to review the footage again today.

FIFA say that Ronaldo did not touch the ball.

In the match between Portugal and Uruguay, using the Connected Ball Technology housed in Adidas’s Al Rihla Official Match Ball, we are able to definitively show no contact on the ball from Cristiano Ronaldo for the opening goal in the game. No external force on the ball could be measured as shown by the lack of ‘heartbeat’ in our measurements. The 500Hz IMU sensor inside the ball allows us to be highly accurate in our analysis.

but would a hair touch trigger it if it was that sensitive then surely any blade of grass touching it would also set it off

got a feeling for some its going to be like the 66 Final and did it not cross the line Tongue Tongue

I'm sure he did. But what about the ball?

A professional performance from the England team. Bellingham, Radford and Foden

It's coming home...

Not the World Cup, but the re worked Lightning Seeds song

And the more that England get into the competition the more chance that this could be the Christmas No1 eek
