Is the thread rename change condescending enough for you.

One I saw the other day was "Starmergeddon"... That made me chuckle.

Charle I hope you didn't take it as a personal criticism, I view all politicians as a waste of space, no matter what team they bat for...

Starmer has done another U turn. He was due to go on holiday this week but he's now cancelled and will continue working from No10.

He's addressed the nation tonight 'I guarantee you will regret taking part in this disorder': speech

Tony Blair came to power, on the back of D-Ream's, 'Things can only get better'.

Keir Starmer's version is, 'Things can only get worse, far worse'. bladewavebladewave

All a question I think as to whether people believe the PMs assertions about the inherited state of the country and it's finances and specifically whether people believe the Tories hid stuff away while in power that has only now been found out.

*Minor Rant Alert*

Yeah, they've so far proved to be worse than expected. I imagine the budget will fuck over both low to middle income tax payers as well as the sick and disabled, the rich will get let off again. The rich poor divide isn't quite big enough yet and not enough of the sick and disabled have been killed off by cruel policies, too many old people as well, so let them freeze. A promise of hope that isn't delivered is a lie, a lie turned into austerity 2.0, not going after wealthy tax avoiders and companies who screw us over, no no no, target the poorest..again. How very Tory of them.

Maybe listen to economists who say austerity doesn't work for a fucking change, how about that Labour!

I think I may start protest voting, because as much as I want to believe that change is on the way, the doom and gloom speech and let's blame the Tories, rather than fix things nonsense, is too much, the far right are on the rise for a reason, more punishing policies that make life more difficult, will not give people the hope they need, and so it continues.

It's inconceivable that every government in charge seems to be able to hide its pathetic spending sprees.
Wasted money that fucks up our economic existence.
Nobody is ever held accountable and each generation is left in more debt and misery.
Our history books tell us that we fought for our freedom ....and won.
Yet here we are welcoming boats filled with people that have no interest in what we fought for and the sacrifices our country made.
Government are allowing our country to turn to shit. Spending billions of pounds on hotel bills and funding immigrants to stay here.
Adding insult to injury our pensioners are told their heating allowance is unaffordable.
Just as well all those cosy hotels have plenty of heating for those deserving freeloaders.
I won't elaborate any further in case I hurt anyone's feelings and get accused of anything.
