I think Milner and especially Young have been dissapointing, would expect to see one of them dropped for Walcott. And Johnson is a liability, honestly think i'd prefer Kelly over him
alot of fans and pundits seem to be divided on johnsons performance last night, heard alot of people say england need milner cos he gives some protection to johnson where as theo is more attacking! i think he will start with milner and then see how it goes and then hodgson will bring him on if we need the more attacking theo to get us some goals! theo never did anything wrong yesterday when he came on but just think the way hodgson thinks he will start with milner! great powerful header from carroll last night, great ronaldo type goal from theo with the swerve on the ball and what a finish from the fresh prince to win it, and yes he did mean itSmile

I don't understand how the Swedish keeper didn't save Walcott's goal, it was pretty much straight at him

I have just read Given is ready to retire from international football. What a servant to his country he has been, he's been our most capped player with 124 caps. Throughout my time watching football, I always regarded him, as one of my favourite goal keepers to play the game. But I guess, its time to let senior players like Given and Keane to move on and to give the younger players a chance

Yeah Johnson would just be even more exposed without Milner (look at the free-kick we conceded the 2nd goal with as a prime example), but I think we could use a direct player like Walcott who takes FBs on, rather than just crossing from deep. And yes I know Carroll scored from this but it's nice to switch it upSmile )

Johnson played well last night, don't think he's done much wrong in the two games. He's been the pick of the back 4 so far for me. He's not the greatest defender in the world but he's a threat going forward, with pace and a good engine. Think he stacks up well against most right backs at the tournament.

I think your right he's done ok and hasn't been a fault for any of the goals England conceded. I'm not a fan of his as a defender, but I think he's done ok in this tournament. But you do get the feeling, teams target him, as the weak link in the England defence

Yeah mate, think they look at the space he can sometimes leave when he drives up the wing. Your left and right backs need to be able to go forward and threaten these days though, if Johnson was a better defender we'd probably be looking at one of the best right backs around.
