The original line up for the movie Demolition Man was Steven Seagal as John Spartan and Van Damme as Simon Phoenix but Van Damme didn’t wanna play a bad guy so they swapped roles and Seagal said no and the rest is history.

A funny fact about the movie Star Trek First Contact, if you remember Picard stayed on board to fight the Borg where as Riker stayed on Earth to help with the launch of the ship. But did you know in the original script Picard and Rikers roles were the other way round and also Q was in the original script.

Star Trek First Contact was also the last Star Trek film to use practical model’s for the ships from next film to current movies all CGI ships.

The bit in Star Wars Ep IV The New Hope were Luke and Leia swing to safety was actually done by the actors and no stunt men/women were used. Also it was all done in one take.

I always wondered why the cars in the UK based 70's sci fi show UFO were all left hand drive and driving on the right hand side of the road.
I just found out that Gerry Anderson envisioned that the UK would have came into line with the rest of Europe and the US and moved to driving on the right.
He was wrong Big Grin
