im not saying they were not great but i put greater empahiss on a player who has done it for sevrel clubs or styles of playing.
another criteria is also about respect for a player when they play against you one case was one of the arsenal games when henry was playing we got murdered ( no change there) but never seen rovers fans stand and applaud the opposing team like that night

Torres had already started faltering when he was at Liverpool. His last season at 'Pool wasn't exactly brilliant, and he never really looked fit that season and for the best part of his time at Chelsea.
Bergkamp was fantastic at Arsenal no disputing that, although as the Premier League awards his time at Inter is invalid in this case. Same with Beckham and Ronaldo as they only played for one team whilst in England.
The bottom line is, players like Giggs and Scholes might not have played for any other side, but what they contributed in the years at Manchester United you can't dispute. Neither player has had any need to move to another club because they've been playing at one of the best sides in world football at the peak of their careers.
Giggs wouldn't be my best player anyway, but I can't find an argument to why he shouldn't.

I think like all Awards, everyone will have there own opinion and who they wanted to win. No one is right and no one is wrong, its a personal choice.
