He lost to Berettini, which was expected. He would have met Dan Evans had he won.

Which gives him hopefully enough time to practice for Eastbourne next week if he goes there, on a wild card, it'd been a long road back for him and actually wonder if we have seen the very best of him - or is his very best still to come? It he does take Wimbledon wild card when does draw take place?

Despite the mixed results at the Olympics, I see he's going to the US Open, after Stan Wawrinka withdrew.

Murray battled past Carlos Alcaraz at Indian Wells over 3 sets.
He won 5-7 6-3 6-2.

I know he won't make the end of tour finals (wherever they are being held now) but a I would think a good run here probably will give him enough confidence to consideer qualifying for the Australian Open in January. Whether that will be his last shot at success in Australia remains to be seen.

Murray got beaten 6-4 7-6 (7-4) by Alexander Zverev last night at Indian Wells.
