I think Spain have shown what can happen if you take a gamble and it doesn't come off. And Roy being sensible? He probably might just do it!! RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Charlemagne - 14-06-2014 06:20 Vicente del Bosque must be waking up this morning woundering what went wrong with his star team.. He'll probably put the result down to everyone having an off day and won't end up making few changes for the next match. Hodgson would be brave to take a gamble on youth over experience. Personally I'd give it a go. We know what we will get from the same old established players so rather than suffer the usual frustrating grind, followed by lame excuses perhaps relatively new blood with a backbone of experienced players supporting them might produce something exciting. Whoever he selects I wish them well and hope they play with passion and give great performances in this tournament. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - lovebabes56 - 14-06-2014 09:03 I'm sure we can suggest a good pair of strikers up front!! come on Roy be brave!! I doubt if he could use the heat as an excuse!! It was the same for both teams. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Charlemagne - 14-06-2014 09:58 Funniest moment so far: The Cameroon player complaining to the referee that he had sprayed his designer boot during a free kick. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - lovebabes56 - 14-06-2014 10:12 Will the spray be adopted for the new season in England or not? RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - lovebabes56 - 14-06-2014 10:45 What would be your line up today guys i'd go for 4 4 2 with an attacking style with Rooney as striker and with Stevie G marshalling the midfield and possibly Sturridge doing a man marking job on Pirlo. The introduction of the vanishing spray (or some trials of the spray) in European football is going to be discussed by football's rulemakers – the International Football Association Board – when it meets after the World Cup. |
