It's shocking that Milner and Sterling are the only wide players that Hodgson picked in the squad.
Because we'll need width to get around Iceland's park the bus tactics.
So, I'd play a 4-2-3-1: Hart; Walker, Smalling, Cahill, Rose; Dier, Rooney; Milner, Alli, Sterling; Sturridge.
Sturridge can drop deep, then Rooney and Alli can run unmarked into the box onto a Milner, Sterling, Rose or Walker cross.
If that doesn't work then just throw on Kane and Vardy for Sturridge and Alli in the 2nd half, and just constantly cross the ball loads.

Italy are looking very strong. It could have been two or three and game over if not for a couple of good saves. Looking forward to see what Spain do different in the second half.
