They're probably disappointed that Corbyn didn't crash and burn! Rolleyes

Considering the opinion polls had Labour on 24% when the election was called, I would say that 40% of the votes was a truly amazing result.

^ Ah, the pollsters... or should that be fraudsters?* Rolleyes

(*fraudulently taking money from those who commission their polls, when they have proved, yet again, that they know fuck all about how people are going to vote laugh ).

And on another cheery note, if the Tories can hold things together long enough, they will, presumably, be able to arrange their long sought boundary changes, which will make it easier for them to win next time... eek shocked bladewave Rolleyes

The opinion polls were actually not far out.

The last poll of polls put Conservative at 43% against the result of 42.4% and Liberal Democrat at 7.5% against the result of 7.2%. With Labour they weren't so close with 36.5% against the result of 40.2%.

Opinion polls wasn't far out I agree
I doubt if Corbyn won't be getting a press apology anytime soon

^ Individually, AFAIK, most were still 'predicting' a Tory win as recently as Wednesday... Rolleyes

The polls have been all over the place - Last weekend, they ranged from a 1% to 12% advantage for the Tories.
