Biden's strength is, he's not Trump.

And that's how a lot of America's voters are seeing it.

What Goodfella said above is true though. Although Biden won it wasn't a decisive victory and it won't have changed anyone's mind, but Trump is the one who needs to change people's minds, so for him it was a missed opportunity and he's running out of time.

Trump doesn't need to 'change' anyone's minds. He doesn't to do anything after the summer of rioting across the country that has permeated the minds of many Americans. I love how everyone wants to ignore this factor lol. Or are these small business owners also 'deplorables', so they don't matter either?

Personally I'm a little surprised that the Trump campaign has never gone for Biden's blatant creepiness towards young girls and women right on camera for everyone to see. Maybe this stupidly feel that they don't want to get into some tit for tat battle on the topic of sexual misconduct. But it wouldn't be close, his pussy talk in the leaked tape was locker talk whereas Biden is blatantly being creepy on screen, and with seemingly underage girls. It would be great television to witness Biden squirm if Trump or a moderator ever bought this up.

Didn't watch but from what I've read it was predictably shit. Biden won by default due to Trump's incessant interrupting which was the last thing he should have done given how questionable Biden is at talking at times. Still according to the BBC Biden still talked for the most, largely just to tell Trump to stop interrupting by all accounts. Gotta say the options for US people is shit, and I thought our political options were shit.

I doubt it would have swung anyones views if you were on the fence before, or changed your side. I guess this is only the start and it will only get more and more excruciatingly shit over the next month. Both candidates hate each other and both sides in general hate each others. Going to be an interesting month or so in the lead up to the election, and beyond.

Biden is Clinton 2.0 with the added baggage of having the support of SJW revolutionary retards behind him.

All Biden had to do last night was throw Trumps words back at him.

'Bleach injections as vaccine' for example

Biden started well for the first 20 minutes (I expected him to fall flat from the start) but his slurring over words and struggling over his points started kicking in. Trump's problem was that he was also balling a jackass moderator. Important to remember for dumbass Brits who see Fox News and Trump as one and the same is that the moderator was of Fox.

How am I a 'Proud Boy'? Can't take it that someone of a presumably different political opinion to yours is posting on the same forum as you? Awww, how awful lol. Cry me a river.

I watched the whole thing.

Quick.question and answer.....

1. Did Trump win on merit imo? No
2. Did Biden win on merit imo? No
3. Did anybody win? No
4. How was the moderator? Useless but to be honest mics should be cut in the face of 2 things i.e (a) Heckling and interruption and (b) failure to answer the question or point raised.
5. Who lost?.The American electorate but tbh they have only themselves to blame in many ways for electing Trump into office in the first place with all it's ensuing baggage Rolleyes.
6a. What did Trump need to do? Set out a clear, positive and believable agenda fot the future.
6b. Did he succeed? Bounce. Silly question. He was too busy heckling Wink.
7a: What did Biden need to do? Damage limitation to a degree, avoid gaffes.
7b: Did he succeed? He was unconvincing at times tbh. He failed to answer some questions properly and refused to answer others. He was guilty of some bluster just as Trump was imo. He avoided catastrophe at least which forced Trump into a situation where continual attack and heckling would not be enough to get the job done. Trump failed but in all honesty Biden hardly excelled in winning the debate.
That being said the 'debate' was pretty messy and bogged down in petty sniping.
8. Will the next two debates be much different? Don't hold your breath Wink

Nicely summed up.

This debate did nothing to hurt Biden.

It did hurt Trump. And Biden didn't hurt him. Trump hurt himself.

I wonder if many won't make their minds up until the day of the election having watched that.
If last night's debate proved anything, then this election is going to be decide by the voters sitting on the fence when the debates are over.

Plus there does need to be a much stronger moderator in place as I think when it starts getting personal, then both sides should go off stage for five minutes, calm down then return and resume, but if personal attacks continue, then they should both be warned about conduct and if they won't stop then the debate should be stopped. If I'd watched that I would have said neither won.
