Former Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries has announced that she will stand down as an MP at the next election. I like to wish her well, but I won't.
The reason she gives is the "sheer stupidity" of MPs in her party who "got rid of Boris Johnson".

So that's a safe Tory seat which is ideal for Boris to step into.

MPs awarded 2.9% increase in wages. Seems reasonable given the rate of inflation, and their current level of income (I have no real issue as they chose to serve) - but this percentage is in the upper end of the scale given what was said to be affordable for others. How many will forego??

I am not sure there are any safe Tory seats a recent poll suggests they could lose 250 plus in next election and may even be the third party behind the SNP.
