Seriously though, I've just started buying the local paper to check the obituaries after nearly missing the funeral of a very good friend of his Sad

Usual method of word of mouth nearly failed this time, for some reason.

Our local BBC thing, Northwest Tonight, celebrated its 40th anniversary this evening, with a 5 minute special including a chat with former presenter Gordon Burns, who looks old.

Also on the MOTD@60 prog, Des Lynam looks pretty ancient now.
