Whatever one thinks of his policies, there was no doubting his intelligence, eloquence, empathy. You just know this was a man who read his briefings, took advice, valued science and considered different options before sounding off.

He may have been 'scripted' and professorial and (God forbid) an intellectual elite, but he was also just plain smart, and there was a time when that was something to be celebrated, not something to be ashamed of.

Perhaps the most offensive thing I've seen from Trump was that video from the hospital where he crows that, "I've learned so much about COVID".

NOW!? Now you've learned about COVID!? Now that you've had the sniffles, you understand that it's 'a thing'!? So what were you 'learning' while 209,000 of your citizens were dying from the damned disease?

Biden will win. However much we sneer at the yanks for all their foibles and stereotypes, I do believe there is something special and fated about the place. And I refuse to believe that it is so far gone that it could continue this aberrant experiment for another four years. Biden must win, because Trump must lose.

You prefer polite talk over policies? Lol. And plenty of high IQ individuals have done the most horrific things on a grand scale. And I love how you're wishing Biden into winning, rather than formulating any plausible argument that he will win. That's pure emotion and on a similar level to thinking that Hillary had a divine right to win in 2016.

I suppose it won't matter if I deny I've never heard of this wackawooSad

The Donald is going to walk out of hospital like a boss. He is an overweight 70 year who didn't hide away, he knew he was high risk of getting the virus yet got on with his job and didn't play the victim. We like to think that we're culturally similar to the Americans but there's one key difference, we like to produce politically correct health and safety bitches and they don't.

^ He's 74. He likes to suggest that Biden is too old but he's only 3 years younger.

Yeah, and Biden has been your typical pro lockdown coward, rarely seen in public even though an election is imminent. Biden already looked weak due to his senility, and Trump refusing to allow Covid to dictate him has made Biden look even more weak.

I'm looking forward in seeing the Vice President debate this week.

We will see if Kamala Harris is a possible leader in future years.

Plexiglass is to be used to separate Harris and Pence.

I prefer intelligence and empathy over blind aggression and cynical cunning.

As for a plausible argument, Trump can't win without the rust belt. And as of today:

MINNESOTA: Biden +8% in popular vote (89% probability of winning)

MICHIGAN: Biden +8% (89%)

WISCONSIN: Biden +6% (82%)

PENNSYLVANIA: Biden +6% (82%)

OHIO: Even (50%)

I know, I know ... the polls were all wrong in 2016 and polls are bullshit bladewave Except they're not.

All of these polls are between 4 and 6 points better than Clinton was doing in 2016. Biden is winning back the non-educated white men and suburban women who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012, but abandoned Clinton in 2016. Whether that's because Biden speaks to them or because Trump -- for all his bravado -- has done very little for them, is irrelevant to me. A vote against Trump is as good as a vote for Biden.

Is it possible that you are suffering from the 'hot hand fallacy' -- the belief that just because something happened before it is destined to happen again?

Another boring establishment Democrat with arguably an even worse reputation amongst young voters than Biden lol.

Say what you want about crazy socialist Bernie Sanders but at least he seemed like an alternative, fresh candidate. The Democrats ignored him in 2016 and they made the same mistake again lol.

You wanna talk about aggression? Take a look at Obama's foreign policy lol. Oh but he was a good public speaker with a vast vocabulary compared to Trump xD

I base my prediction on Trump winning on the basis that Biden is Clinton 2.0. Americans have had enough of that establishment Democrat politics.
