RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - bigguy01 - 20-11-2013 13:39 FX have picked up del torro's the strain, july 2014 is the likiest date for the first series. The 9th ep of season3 of person of interest, 16 Blocks but more bad ass. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - bytor - 23-11-2013 22:22 There is going to be a pilot show for a new Startrek project. Star Trek: Renegades, which seems poised to break new ground in the Startrek universe. After raising more than $200,000 from fan groups, the pilot is currently in post-production, with a slated release date for summer or autumn 2014. The first trailer has been released this week. The pilot will star Walter Koenig and Tim Russ, reprising their roles as Chekov and Tuvok, respectively. Apparently the series promises to be "bold, edgy and a little dark." Not sure if that means as dark as Battlestar Galactica, but hopefully it will be a little edgier than the last Startrek tv outing. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 07-12-2013 18:26 Some news on the new show called Gotham, Fox are looking at casting a ten year old Bruce Wayne which could end up being a regular role according to the site: "A 10-year-old Bruce Wayne is among the roles that are now being cast as series regulars on the upcoming Fox TV series "Gotham" which explores the origin stories of Commissioner James Gordon and the villains that made Gotham City famous. Under development for over a year, the project has now been given a direct-to-series order by the network, which won an intense bidding war for the Warner Bros. Television rights to the show. Shooting on the pilot episode will get underway in March, 2014 and will center on Gotham City PD rookie homicide detective James Gordon who investigates the double murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne." This is along with The Flash and Hourman shows next year too. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - HannahsPet - 12-12-2013 11:01 only just watched the first episode but yeah it was pretty good nothing like the old series which is good RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - dizzy_davidh - 13-12-2013 09:17 I've seen a few episodes too (the tomorrow people) and thought it wasn't bad. One joke in the show that did bug me was that they took the piss out of the name 'tomorrow people' as the term that was being used for their advanced capabilities which mad me think why did they use the name 'the tomorrow people' if it was so bad only to then make fun of it in the show. Knowing about the old show on which it was based and it being British, i kind of felt a bit like 'fuck you' and 'come up with your own frickin show if ours is so lame'. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - SmĀ© - 13-12-2013 12:09 ^^ Just watched the 9th episode, have to wait till Jan 15th for the next one RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - BaddaBing - 13-12-2013 17:51 Anyone watching Mob City? I'm a little disappointed by it, was expecting more, but its still better than a lot of guff they put out now. Just wondered what others might be thinking about it |
