Germany deserve it because since 2002 they have been so close to winning tournaments, always reaching semi finals, finals. Their obstacle has been Spain but I just feel they can overcome them this time around.
I just wish Lowe would rotate more, not seen gotze yet.

Just saw highlights of the Denmark and Germany match and Denmark should have had a penalty when it was 1-1. Badstuber is clearly pulling Bendther's jersey in the box.
The official behind the goal should have seen it. John Giles brought up something up on RTE. Are the officials behind the goal used only for goal line decisions or can they make calls if a foul has been committed?

Really thought Russia was going to be up there again but they had to go fuck it up against a Greece side that will probably lose 4-0 to Germany in the quarters, anyways when it was Russia playing the Czechs the commentator did mention whether Russia have enough against the better teams but for gods sake this was a weak greece side who is only good at faking injuries and time wasting.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but the disease of diving and cheating has spread so rapidly in football that its going to be difficult to contain if nobody tries to put a stop to it
