RE: Scottish Independence - The Silent Majority - 19-09-2014 06:29 Interesting speech by Cameron. The rest of the UK may have much to thank Scotland for, in due course. RE: Scottish Independence - biggles - 19-09-2014 10:48 I'd like to see the turn out for this reflected in future General/Local/European elections but sadly that wont happen - you can see what happens when people are motivated by something and lets hope REAL change is coming with more decisions being made locally regarding things such as transport, health, education, tax spending. Lets keep the national government responsible for things such as Defence, macro economic policies. Perhaps we are heading towards a federal state? Well done Scotland for having a choice and thank you for deciding to stay with the rest of us in a UNITED kingdom. RE: Scottish Independence - Charlemagne - 19-09-2014 10:57 It's patching up day in Scotland. Family and friends are going to have to forget their differences. It's a shame that Andy Murray is taking a lot of abuse with his 'yes' tweets. So it's not looking good for his mum in Strictly.
