rodgers his taking his backroom staff from swansea with him to liverpool. i could see martinez either staying at wigan or going back to swansea.
norwich rejected it with the possibility of trying to some compo if and when lambert goes to villa.
henderson will hardly play a game or get game time just like lampard.

Lampard has been ruled out of the Euro's for England and Henderson takes his place.
Massive loss for England in my opinion and a big shame as I think Roy Hodgeson could have worked Gerrard and Lampard together in midfield.
I did however find this quote somewhat confusing...
Quote:"The fact that the doctor cannot guarantee Frank could take part in any of the group matches means we have to replace him in the central midfield area.
Funny that, because Rooney is still going despite missing most of the group stages.

No matter who is in charge, the Gerrard and Lampard combination will never work
Instead of Henderson replacing Lampard, England could have done two things. Bring in Carrick has the replacement, although not a fan has had a better season than Henderson. Also maybe they should have brought Joe Cole and switch Milner to a central position

I think Carrick has retired from international football, so he'd be a no go. Scholes maybe? Cleverly perhaps ?
Joe Cole is an unknown really, he plays in the French leagues and I'm not saying it is a shit league but it isn't as good as the Premier League. Can he do a job? Big gamble IMO.

But is Joe Cole a bigger gamble than Henderson?
