Just out of curiosity, why was that annoying? Yet another barmy idea designed to create false excitement. If Hamilton wins the last race then the race itself is an anti climax (not him winning the title btw) and if Rosberg wins then everyone would say he didn't really win it except for the double points. I wish they would stop tinkering and just let the drivers race each other properly. RE: Formula 1 - Fernandez Esperenda - 07-11-2014 20:19 I just hoping Massa wins or gets onto Podium seeing as Mercedes already have won the constructors couldn't lewis "accidentally" run him and Rosberg out of the 2 races and that way he would win.. I know what I would do RE: Formula 1 - circles_o_o_o - 09-11-2014 14:01 After missing two race weekends, the Caterham team are still in a state of uncertainty about making the last race in Abu Dhabi. The team are trying to raise 2.35million pounds via crowd-funding, and are currently just past the million mark. https://www.crowdcube.com/caterham/ £75 for a wheel nut sounds a bit steep, but who hasn't always wanted a Caterham F1 team branded leather shoe bag. RE: Formula 1 - Fernandez Esperenda - 09-11-2014 15:38 £550 for dinner with 1 of their drivers?.. Slightly desperate.. RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 22-11-2014 12:57 Latest news regarding Jules Bianchi is that he is no longer in an artificial coma and is breathing unaided. He has also left hospital in Japan and is now being cared for in Nice. But his condition is still 'critical' and he remains unconscious. Michael Schumacher has returned to his home near Lake Geneva, which has reportedly been redeveloped to cater for his convalescence. He seems to be improving very slowly. He's paralysed, but moves about in a wheelchair. He can't speak and has memory problems. It appears that he communicates with his eyes, with his wife and press officer. RE: Formula 1 - bytor - 22-11-2014 13:33 ^ I read a few weeks ago that Schumachers home care is costing £100,000 a month and his expected recovery is likely to take 3 years. RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 22-11-2014 17:29 Lewis Hamilton qualifies 2nd for the double points finale in Abu Dhabi behind Nico Rosberg. If Rosberg were to go on and convert pole position into a win then Hamilton MUST finish 2nd to win the title. Anything less and the German would take the title instead. Pressure on. RE: Formula 1 - Tumble_Drier - 22-11-2014 20:58 Both Redbull cars have been excluded from Qualifying and moved to the back of the Grid. The cars both failed a front wing flex test and strong rumours suggest that a leaf spring arrangement encased in a rubber shroud has been found in the wing. |
