We all know the Felix Mendelsohn tune at Christmas 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing' BUT Felix didn't write it for Christmas-it was written to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of the Gutenberg Press. It was only later(against his wishes) that religious lyrics were added to what we now sing at Christmas time-the culprit was George Wesley.
