I thought they were going to approve one system of the other. However, I do anticpate much in the way of teething problems in the early days of use. And I hope that means an end to the use of the goal line assistants who basically did very little in the Euros. And I guess Platini will take an age to introduce it for Euros or CL. I get the feelng that he is very anti-tech.

After the Lampard goal that wasn't given Blatter said the next day that the goalline technology would be looked at again, so what he says now is fair enough. Give the man credit.

Tonight we celebrate another notch in the career of Wayne Bridge - the most invisible man in English football!
Man City have loaned him again, off to the Seagulls for a year. I'll try and remember this time, but the omens aren't good. These are all my own personal failings, but something about him just never registers with me. Chelsea won titles, England played games, but when JT did or didn't do the dirty on him, my honest reaction was "Wayne who?"...
Now God love him, he's landed Frankie Sandford since but even that didn't help me notice that his West Ham loan spell had changed to Sunderland this year. I pledge to look out for you in the Football League Show, Wayne - here's hoping all those strikers fail to notice you closing in for tackles!

Read this article from Des Kelly, he definitely hits the nail on the head on the Arsenal situation

Yep that article is spot on especially the bit about when he was a troublemaker at feyenoord and was transfer listed, I don't know why he thinks his bigger than the whole club when it was only last season he delivered for us, the previous seasons he weren't even there and just collecting his money, hmmm I wonder why he wasn't complaining about ambition at those times.
I just hate it when players use that '1 year left on their contract' line to basically control everything and it makes the club itself look weak.
Yh Arsene moans, sometimes a sore loser, refuses to face reality in terms of signings but no way does he deserve what he's getting, you only have to listen to other managers to truly understand what he has done for AFC.
