Sell him and buy Falcao

On the signing of borini for Liverpool, I really don't get the hype that Rodgers has placed on him, remember he only tasted championship football and if Swansea really thought he was a star in the making they would have made a effort to sign him permantely.
Yes he made the Italy senior squad but surely he should have got a run out at the euros if he was this highly rated, I could be wrong and he could turn out to be one of the buys of the season but i ain't naive to believe all the hype that is bestowed on him.
If I was Rodgers I would try for a player like Adam Johnson, I mean city will obviously say his not for sale but still I would try to test the water in order to get a player who has the pl experience, has outstanding ability and more importantly he fits that mould of the type of player Rodgers would like

The kid's only turned 21 mate. You say he's only tasted championship football but he played 24 times in serie a last season for Roma and scored 9 goals. He's a full international aswell.
Rodgers has knew him since he was 16 at Chelsea where he broke into the first team at 18/19 i think. That takes some doing at a club with the players and resources Chelsea have. The lad, bearing in mind still only 19 went with Rodgers on loan at Swansea where he done great and scored 6 in 9 appearances i think, helping them to promotion. I think the lad's got a good cv for having just turned 21.
Rodgers clearly thinks the world of him and thinks he's got huge potential. He said Borini's the best player he's worked with in terms of pace, power, fitness and mental toughness. I've heard nothing but brilliant reports on Borini from Italian journalists, Chelsea fans, Roma fans and the manager, so i'm looking forward to seeing him.

Rio looks like an utter gobshite for trying defend himself for laughing at a comment a person wrote. Fair play to Cole to trying to defuse the situation

It's funny isn't it how little coverage Rio has received from this. You could bet your bottom dollar that if it was a white player who'd said that about Ferdinand then they'd be up in court next week!
Fucking hypocrite.
