I believe he was using the pronoun 'you' in the sense of the more old fashioned 'one', as in 'passes one by'.
The meaning I deduce from fendercat's post is that so magnificent is Amy's beauty, at first one can't appreciate it fully.
Not sure it's a workable theory though!

True. Although, I still felt she put on a decent show. Her performances are very suggestive, also, I know when she was on Chat Back she was truly amazing on the phone.
