I've just read through most of these posts and I'm really failing to see why everyone is so shocked that she was pissed on live tv. Why was it such a shocker, exactly? She was drunk... And?

You dont think it is irresponsible and out of order to the paying customers then? It is not exactly arousing listening to a women blabbing away incoherently and slurring their words whilst talking on the phone

You were great entertainment last night Lucy, although I couldn't help feeling a bit concerned at first, you seemed so out of it. What on earth had you been drinking?
The channel can't have been that bothered as they kept you on and by 2am they deemed you safe enough to go on the mic - I was listening intently in case you went off on a drunken rant, but it didn't happen. Has Selena forgiven you? She seemed a bit cross hehe.
I loved the rolling around with Barney (and snogging her), the struggling to work out which way up your number should go (6 or 9?) lol, plus the attempts to bluetack it to all sorts of nearby surfaces, then almost falling asleep and coming back to life, but best of all - the erotic positions you managed to get yourself into! Although being drunk at work, whatever you do, cannot be condoned, in this case no harm was done and I'm sure Lucy's callers enjoyed their calls despite her condition!
