Yes, IC images don't seem to be loading at the moment - hopefully its just a temporary blip...

Ive tried to contact them for ages about changing my name (in order to go public on my albums) and havent had any reply?! Also, i wish there was a way to set up links to entire albums,in order to share with other members?

I haven't had any emails regarding name changing. Feel free to PM me.
I will add the ability to share entire albums to my todo list. Hopefully be done this month, shouldn't be difficult
Sorry for the slowdowns guys - Traffic has doubled and I've increased the frequency of backups to make sure nothing gets lost. Hopefully will have everything running smoothly shortly

ImageChunk seems awfully slow again today for some reason. It seems to take forever to get into my albums.
And as for some of the caps and vids threads on here, forget it, it takes up to 10min's to display some pages, and that's with half the images missing
I know it's a popular image host, but this is becoming to regular.

OK what's wrong with ImageChunk!!!!!
It won't display the thumbnails to any image I upload, and it won't display any thumbnails within my albums.
It won't even allow me to delete some of my redundant images, as it just gets stuck and won't finish.

I have just completed massive changes to the backend of imagechunk.com
Images will load a lot faster now

It is faster but the thumbnails dont display...You just get a "No Thumbnail" Pic

It seems ok to me, but I have only posted a few full size pics today, no thumbnails.

There is no problem if your posting links to the full size image, but if like me you post one or two full size images, and then the rest as thumbnails, the thumbnails won't display when you preview the post.
It seems to work fine on all my previous posts, just not any new ones.
ADDITION
The thumbnails now seem to display in my albums again, but not when I link to them to post here.
Just noticed that the thumbnails link within Imagechunk is wrong, as it points to a no_thumnail JPG, even though the thumbnail displays. You can get them to work, but you have to manually alter all the links to point to the actual thumbnail location.
Hope this extra info helps you track the problem George.

This Type of Message is Annoying Me
Warning the filename 5_99.jpg is already in existence on this server.
As i name my caps 1,2,3 etc they used to uploaded fine to imagechunck but recently i seem to get this type of message every time i try to upload a file which is name either 1,2 or 3 etc. When clearly my file called five ainit already on the server so why ainit it adding my pics an giving me this message instead these days.
