RE: Dr Who - Captain Vimes - 20-04-2010 13:45 Sorry if in wrong thread. Kate Manning (Jo Grant) is returning in the Sarah Jane Adventures. She was Pertwee's sidekick, I think. Anyway, famous, infamous for this. RE: Dr Who - Gaz "AV1" Aston - 20-04-2010 14:09 I wouldnt mind Amy Pond posing with "the New Daleks" like that ^^^^ she was hot enough dressed in the cops uniform in the first episode RE: Dr Who - Deb x - 20-04-2010 14:12 astonv1 - That sucker thing is a lot higher up on the new daleks If Amy's gonna pose like that she'd better make sure she stands on a strong box RE: Dr Who - Gaz "AV1" Aston - 20-04-2010 14:14 (20-04-2010 14:12 )Deb x Wrote: astonv1 - That sucker thing is a lot higher up on the new daleks I'd volunteer to give her a boost RE: Dr Who - Regenerated - 20-04-2010 19:49 I've seen preview trailers for the episodes in the new series on youtube and they all look good. I'm counting the days down now till the weeping angels return on Saturday. That Tenth Doctor story "Blink" put the frighteners on me, it was a brilliant episode... Made me wary of all statues..... can't wait for the next episode on Saturday. Steven Moffat's stories have all featured genuine scary monsters / situations...such a good writer. "don't blink, don't even blink..... they're fast, faster than you know..... don't turn your back, don't close your eyes.... and don't blink.... good luck..." RE: Dr Who - rover - 20-04-2010 21:52 I like the new Daleks there kinda cute......... RE: Dr Who - wade_wilson - 24-04-2010 20:42 absolutely brilliant episode River Song was brilliant! the whole Blue Stabilisers, it didn't make the noise, what noise? lol. the whole thing about what River is and that she was in prison, the angels on the planet being rescued by the angel on the byzantium, amy as hot as ever and a smart cookie. the crack in the teaser... only annoying thing, fooking cartoon graham norton near the end. bloody BBC RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 24-04-2010 23:09 (24-04-2010 20:42 )wade_wilson Wrote: absolutely brilliant episode River Song was brilliant! the whole Blue Stabilisers, it didn't make the noise, what noise? lol. the whole thing about what River is and that she was in prison, the angels on the planet being rescued by the angel on the byzantium, amy as hot as ever and a smart cookie. the crack in the teaser... that was the only thing that i didnt like was the graham norton plug at the end other wise a very good episode. love the banter between the doctor and river, the twist that all the statues in the maze of the dead were angels, the doctor's rousing words at the end and then the teaser about next week. the cracks that have appeared in the first 3 episodes have a part to play next week. also the events of this episode and next week were hinted at in river's first appearance in the 2 part library planet episode RE: Dr Who - Deb x - 24-04-2010 23:49 After 'Blink', I wondered how they could make those statues any more sinister. But these ones laid dormant for years, slowly rotting, and now they've become some sort of stone zombies? Very clever 'character' development for the statues, thanks to that book about them. They can become real via their images? And don't look them in the eyes or else? So clever, especially the way the writers used Amy to reveal it all. That big cavern shot of all the statues on high was spectacular, too This is easily my favourite episode so far - in being so very careful to avoid the spoilers for this week, I also managed to completely avoid the fact it was a two-parter The next episode needs to hurry up for me now... PS. I would like to see the Doctor time travel to visit the two-headed people... RE: Dr Who - Ducky - 25-04-2010 04:54 I didn't know this was gonna be a two parter so I was like, "He's only got 1 minute left to solve this and save himself and Amy? Smug twat, it'll be some right cop out ending by the writers, surely?!' Bare in mind, I was rather drunk, having just come home from the pub, watching it on bbciplayer, lol. So a 2 parter is welcome by me & I thought it was a great episode. The iplayer kept sticking so mostly I could only hear what was going on, but with frozen shots, jumping forward occasionally Gonna try watching it again today by downloading it first. Loving this new series and also wondering how Amy Pond STILL manages to look awesomely sexy in a big red jumper?! Lol |
