But we'd still be able to get him cheaper than the market value though
And I agree Alex is quality but I think it's a given that he'll be off soon, can Cahill would be a great replacement

Yeah was expecting a Liverpool victory too, was hoping we could nick a draw but Cole getting skinned for what seems like the 50th time this season meant we didn’t…again
As for AVB, gotta give him time. The only reason we’re in this position of having to depend on Lamps, JT, Cole etc. is because of Roman’s reluctancy to stick with managers
But he is very naive, look at Sir Alex realising his mistakes has lead United to three 1-0 wins since City humiliated them. Yet he’s being stubborn and persisting with (or he’s being forced to persist with) our high defensive line and patient passing game. A combination of this, and Liverpool as usual pressing like crazy against us, lead to the first goal. He’s gotta realise we just don’t have the players to carry out his philosophies.

as for the premiership think its safe to say its all over for us now i hope city take it any1 but united. I can only hope we can perform well in the champs league and fa cup we gotta take at least 1 major bit of silverware or this season will be a big dissapointment

lets hope for a solid performance in the champs league match tonite god knows we need a convincing win to get the belief of the supporters back in the team and the manager

if you lose tonight, will that spell the end for AVB? I agree he needs time, but jusging from all reports this week, Roman's patience must be wearing thin. I guess JT would perobably start tonight too.

if his goes this season he will probably wait till after christmas the only problem is who will replace him plus the compensation that has to be paid out and the overall embarresment for abramovich after paying 20 odd mill to get avb

chelsea needs a huge clearout starting with cech, drogba, torres, jt, lampard, mikel, luiz, ivanovic. chelsea are becoming the ac milan of epl with so many players over 30 and best their best.
