You haven't heard about Caprica being cancelled because it hasn't been cancelled.

Technically.

The cast contracts are due to expire and it's unlikely they'll be renewed, so Caprica will probably just drift out of existence.

Thought as much as i couldn't find anything about it.

This Is England '86 - Shane Meadows' four part sequel to his 2006 hit movie 'This Is England'. Did anyone else catch it?

I found it touching, funny, and at times downright shocking. Vicky McClure being the standout star of the series, along with a terrifying turn from Johnny Harris as Lol's beast of a father. A special mention too for the character 'Flip' - funny as fcuk, sounds like a young Ralph Ineson.

Watched loads of new stuff this week, about 10 pilots in total, here's some to keep an eye out for

Boardwalk Empire - A HBO mini series starring the fantastic Steve Buscemi and directed by Martin Scorsese set in 1920's America at the start of prohibition.

It wasn't the best start to a series but it has potential bursting out of it and as it's HBO it should be a cracker

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0979432/

The Event - This has ''the new lost'' written all other it but I could see this been this years Flashforward, Starts off promising but Ican see it been canceled quite early.

Hawaii Five-0 - Dont remember the original so went into this not knowing what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised, It's a bit on the cheesy side but has a good cast, It kind of reminds me of NCIS .

Blue Bloods - Set in New York about a family of NYPD, Starring Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg. Again This is another one with great potential with an interesting back story and great actors I can only see this getting better.

One to avoid at all costs

Shit my father says(pronounced Bleep my father says) - A suposed comedy starring William Shatner, this is the most unfunny thing I've ever seen, just awful.

There was a few more but none have grabbed me as of yet.

Yeah it was pretty good.

I like Smell. Not the prettiest girl, but I love her look and she seems pretty easy Wink

caught most of them myself gaz.
a couple more that may be short lived.

undercovers sort of a black mr and mrs smith. not convinced that this has any legs.
terriers, its a very so so private dick drama/comedy...
my generation, which has been canceled. i thought the first 2 episodes were ok.
outsourced, little in the way of funny. telly-sales company outsources to india to cut costs sending 1 of its lackys to oversee the operation...

Seen all but terriers. I was surprised that outsourced was allowed to be made though as it came across as quite racist to me (maybe because i didn't find it funny)

I thought that The Event was just 12 episodes long...
I hope it doesn't do a Lost. What a load of old tosh Lost was at the end.
