RE: Football Transfer Window - mitchell - 31-01-2011 21:58 News Flash Jesus Christ has just tabled a bid of 1,000,000,000 Chinese Yuan for the Devil's poison... This is officially the craziest transfer window in history. RE: Football Transfer Window - b1grob - 31-01-2011 22:04 I'm a liverpool fan and i cant believe we are selling torres ok the money's handy but i hoped he would stay. RE: Football Transfer Window - StridentOnanist - 31-01-2011 22:13 Hardly sod-all happening all month, and then it all goes mental! Over £200M outlay! Glad to see El Hadji Diouf exiting English football. A pity it wasn't further away... like Egypt, perhaps RE: Football Transfer Window - b1grob - 31-01-2011 22:35 (31-01-2011 22:13 )StridentOnanist Wrote: Hardly sod-all happening all month, and then it all goes mental! Over £200M outlay!Yes its all kicked off some good players moving about RE: Football Transfer Window - Phoenix - 31-01-2011 23:06 GET IN THERE!!! RE: Football Transfer Window - joeycannon - 31-01-2011 23:12 Get in there!!!! Really pleased we signed torres, come on Chelsea!!!! RE: Football Transfer Window - Charlemagne - 01-02-2011 08:10 So Chelsea have paid 50 million for Torres.. and I take it that he's signed for them for 3 years. And at the end of the 3 years he will be offer a new contract. But if he decides not to re-sign for them, he can just walk off to another club and he will have cost Chelsea 17 million a year. If he plays only 34 matches a year that will be half a million per match. And that's if he's fully fit. So Chelsea have really paid half a million pound plus his wages per match for Torres to play for them. Let me know if my maths are wrong Master Yoda says that he's signed for 5.5 years... Therefore they are only paying just over quarter of a million for every match that he plays RE: Football Transfer Window - Master Yoda - 01-02-2011 10:45 I think he's signed for 5 and 1/2 years mate. RE: Football Transfer Window - malicious fan - 01-02-2011 10:54 i think torres has cost chelsea this seasons title, but saying that he did so on 7 nov when he put 2 goals in against them at anfield. time will tell but i think liverpool have done the best out of this deal. Don't think they're allowed to do that unless it's a loan deal. Seem to remember there was trouble a few years ago with something similar happening. |
