I just wish haye had been stopped he made so many gestures to the ref during the fight excuse after excuse he deserved nothing more than what he got a whopping

Daid Haye put up a pitiful performance. He was outboxed by a better athlete. End of story. Maybe he'll give his over-worked mouth a much needed rest now.

i think the broken toe was just an excuse for haye not delivering a better performance after all his predictions of an annihilation. i think he did give it a really good go though, but klitschko was just too good for him

i don't like all the excuse's but let's remember he was giving up 3-4 stone and a couple of inches in height and reach on the man! with valuev hay was by far the better boxer but vlad was way to good for him. i read somewhere vald throws on avarage 50 punches a round through his career to hayes 30. with his jab and reach advantage, haye was always going to have big problems! vlad had to much ring craft to be pulled into a brawl which was the only chance haye had. i hope now he will go away and have a think about the way he has behaved, take stock, and give the klitschkos the respect they deserve!

You seem to have forgotten that Haye was the home fighter, not Klitschko. Yes judges can easily be swayed by the crowd, but the crowd here seemed mainly British. In scoring fights judges look for eye-catching clean work, which may be difficult to do when the fan favourite evokes a crowd reaction for any punches thrown, even if they aren't clean hits. If it had been a close contest the raucous British fans may have influenced the judges enough to get Haye the decision.

Just check this out.... http://m.espn.go.com/wireless/story?storyId=6733669

I don't really like this boxing analyst, but for the first time in years I think he's spot on, in his comments about the fight.
We all agreed that Haye got a punchers chance to win the fight, that he need it to make it a brawl and that all his antics before the fight had the purpose of getting in Klitschko's head.
Well Haye failed.
But he failed not because he didn't got Klitschko angry, Haye failed because he never never never really tried to engaged. According to Compubox he only landed 72 punches of 290 thrown during the fight. This means that he threw 24 punches per round and landed only 6!!!!

PATHETIC!!!

The "home" fighter is the one who has the crowd behind him (regardless of where the fight is being fought or who the judges are).

I was under the impression that there were approximately 50,000 people in the arena, and only 10,000 of those were British. That suggests that the rest of the crowd were German? Huh
