It does not bode well for the tours of Sri Lanka and India where the conditions will be similar to those in the UAE.

Can't fault the England bowling throughout so far but the batting has been shite. Peiterson and Morgan need to fuck off.

Sounds like one or both of Morgan and Pietersen will be getting the drop sooner rather than later inless things turn around for them.

It's a bit worrying that if we loss this next test and SA win 3-0 (out of 3) in New Zealand then they will be No.1.

Pakistan have the better spinners out of the Asian countries right now, that's one way to look at it.

The thing is, they know the pitches out there are flat, so why only play Swann in the first test? Monty comes in and doesn't brilliant. Fast paced bowlers will be largely ineffective and will struggle to make the ball swing. They'll be relying heavily on the new ball to get their wickets.
The batting has been utter shit. Ego-man KP needs dropping on his over inflated head. Yes on his day he is one of the best batters, unfortunately for him his day is once a year!

Watch England stick with their failing batting order.More change of them dropping Monty & bring in a 3rd seamer.Morgan isn't a Test player yet,& the Ego is half the player he was.

It's the third test today and England are on the rampage! Pakistan are 99 all out in 45 overs. Now let's see what England can do in reply - they are unchanged from the last test and just about to begin their innings. Here are England's bowling figures today: Broad 4/36, Anderson 3/35, Panesar 2/25 and Swann 1/0.

England didn't cope much better,104-6 only a 5 run lead.

Will tomorrow (second day) be the last day of this match? Surprised

RE: Pakistan v England 2012 - Boomerangutangangbang - 04-02-2012 14:03

England scrambled to a 42 run lead.After being 28-2 in their 2nd Innings Pakistan's lead stands at 180.Younis Khan 115 Not Out,Azhar Ali 75 Not Out.222-2 Close.Looking like a beaten team.

At 28-2 I was also thinking that it might not make it to the end of a second day.

Just for historical interest, no fewer than 19 Test Matches have ended in under 2 days (and not one of them have featured Bangladesh, although the two most recent occurances ended in defeat for Zimbabwe against South Africa and New Zealand).

England have featured in 12 2-day results, 9 wins and 3 defeats.
