Jools back on BBC4 tonight with a revised repeat of a a film he made for the Tube 40 years ago about New Orleans.

The Hootenanny was much as usual, though Ronnie Wood is a better booking than Rod Stewart on nights like that. The Kooks amusingly provided ballast inbetween the likes of Lulu and Imelda May and so on, running through their handful of hits.

Followed it on Saturday night with another Best Of compilation, this time on a theme of "collaborations" though I fail to see Robbie Williams singing Angels whilst Bonnie Raitt playing guitar is much of a "collaboration". At least they managed to leave off that bloody clip of Paul Weller and Amy Winehouse this time.
