20 minutes too long? Christ, I thought they'd learnt their lesson with 'Casino Royale'. Why is every film these days over 2 hours? Is nobody in the film biz familiar with the term 'Quality over quantity'?

I personally felt the film was well balanced and kept a fairly level pace but I love all the Bond films so perhaps thats a biased viewpoint on my part.
There is nothing wrong with a film being over 2 hours long if it is relevant to the plot and adds to the feel of the movie. I would add that there are far too many movies under an hour and half that would be far better if they were at least twenty to thirty minutes longer to allow for a better story line to develop.

Missed the bloody thing. Hopefully it will be repeated later this week and I'm sure it will be on every other night when Dave get their hands on it lol.

agree kalel. i really enjoyed it last night. it had top gear elements in it with it focusing on the bond cars and doing their own versions of the invisible aston martin and the underwater lotus esprit some really good backstories to the cars that have been in the bond films over the 50 years. also a nice look at how the opening sequence in skyfall was done

For all you sauve, sophisticated gents out there, november's GQ magazine, has 6 different bond covers to collect, a free Goldfinger novel, and a bond section inside including a nice interview with Sir Roger Moore by David Walliams, and Dame Judi giving the lowdown on Daniel Craig.
