This was no mistake by these people, everyone knew the forecast, they would be mostly locals & fell walkers, they where hoping to scive off work, a deliberate act, it happens most years. I do wonder if it's just part of a big publicity stunt by the owners, a bit of free advertizing.
The bit that made me laugh was that they said that they'd got punters in with the promise of some live music, Noasis (Well known Oasis tribute act) were booked to do a gig. Although I thought I'd misheard the reporter call them Snoasis. Wink
