RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - Charlemagne - 27-03-2014 10:38 David v Goliath match this morning.. South Africa v the Netherlands Nervious start from SA, after all you wouldn't want to be beat by the minows. 3-1 and Amla has just survived a close run out RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - Charlemagne - 27-03-2014 11:56 Malik's got 5 wickets for 19 against the mighty South Africans. With one over to go SA135-9. Steyn's going to be needed RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - Boomerangutangangbang - 27-03-2014 12:01 South Africa have made a bit of a mess of things making 145-9 Ahsan Malik 5-19 Amla 43 You would expect that South Africa can still defend a moderate total. They were guilty of some poor shot selection, maybe expected to post a total closer to 200 rather than 150. My money is on the Netherlands, but only just. These are the best ever figures by an Associate bowler against a Full Member side in a T20 international. It helped restrict South Africa to 145/9 after they were 92/3 at the half way stage of their innings. RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - Boomerangutangangbang - 27-03-2014 13:00 Netherland score 63-1 in the Power Play overs..(0-3 after 10 overs Myburgh made 51 from 28 balls. RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - Boomerangutangangbang - 27-03-2014 13:47 South Africa win by 6 runs as Netherlands are bowled out for 139. RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - William H Bonney - 27-03-2014 14:06 The Netherlands lost this game rather than South Africa winning it. RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - cosmonaut - 27-03-2014 14:26 England won the toss against Sri Lanka and decided to bowl. Both sides are unchanged from their previous match. RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - Billy_Nomates - 27-03-2014 16:25 The Netherlands very nearly pulled off a remarkable victory against South Africa bearing in mind they were skittled out for 39 against Sri Lanka 3 days earlier. I see that England's fielding is up to it's usual low standards - again. Two dolly catches dropped. ![]() RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - William H Bonney - 27-03-2014 16:30 Sri Lanka make 189/4 in their 20 overs and I have a question. Is there a record for the number of dropped catches in an innings and if so did England beat it? |
