Plunkett i have always had hopes for... but i have lost faith in the selectors... sadly i think woakes is more likely to be given another chance bladewave

If you look at the record of Woakes in County Cricket it's outstanding averages 25 with the ball & 40 with the bat,he is bowling quicker, but could be one of those that is just short of International class.

I know his record is good.... but on everything he has done in international cricket it is impossible to make a case for him getting another chance. Even if he was a Giles fave!! This goes back to my point about Buttler and the test team... mentally he is ready... i back him to over come any technical floors. Woakes might join the list of guys who have the game but not the mind for international cricket... like Ramprakash... if only he could have produced...

Senanayake, the Sri Lankan Off-Spinner has been reported by the official after the 4th ODi for a suspect bowling action.he will be tested while still being allowed to play until the results are known.

Not sure it is possible to bowl a 'legal' doosra unless u do it like Narine and Ashwin, simply by turning the ball the opposite way with your fingers out of the front of the hand!

Today sees the deciding match of the ODI series at Edgbaston, with England bucked one of the trends of the series by winning the toss and choosing to bat. England named an unchanged side for the 2nd match running, with Sri Lanka also unchanged from their narrow victory at Lord's.

You guys are 6/182 with 10 overs remaining and Malinga has 4 to come. Sri Lanka only need to get either Buttler or Jordan out and then you're down to the tail, so a lot rests on these 2. Where's Hales by the way, be should be opening?

England failed to bat out their innings, making 219 off 48.1 overs. The innings featured a stodgy 56 from Cook and saw a rare type of dismissal as Buttler was run out backing up.

Sri Lanka captain is now in.. Lots of cherping from the England boys

What the chance that he get a warning from one of the bowlers for backing up. Or he may find a few bouncers flying his way....

There needs to be a rule change. ICC playing condition 42.11 is clear that a batsman can be run out backing up. It should be added that an umpire must not consult the fielding captain before making his decision, to stop umpires from unreasonably asking the fielding side to withdraw their appeal.
