Another 2 wickets for Anderson this morning. England have bowled so much better than India in this match and I'm surprised that India haven't got anyone that can bowl at more than medium pace. I think that's been the biggest difference between the 2 sides.

India are 178 all out and England have won by 266 runs. Ali took 6/67 as England dominated for the 13th session in a row and have also ended a drought of 10 tests without a win. England shouldn't get too excited though, because India were poor in many ways in this match.

It's looks as if England will be without Anderson for the next test, at least, because it seems more than likely he will be in receipt of a ban for the incident which took place in the first test.

Anderson has been found not guilty today. The same for Jadeja.

sounds like it was all a dirty tricks campaign by the Indians to get Anderson banned, the cheats!! we should annihilate me in the next one just to show them what we think of them.

An Australian judge sitting in Melbourne conducted the hearing via video conferencing decided that both parties were not guilty. I think the entire situation was blown out of all proportions by the Indians.

India with 2 changes won the toss and are batting.

England are unchanged from the previous test.

Winning the toss and batting wasn't a good decision.

Anderson and Broad are moving the ball all over the place.
India now 8-3

Update: now 8-4..

Well this was a good toss to lose, because Cook admitted that he would have batted first too given the opportunity. It's also a long time since the side batting second won at Old Trafford, so batting first looked like the right decision at the time.

At lunch India are 63/5. What a session that was and what a session for England.
