And thanks for your advice but I'm well aware of how the NFL works rammy, I did live in the US for 3 years..

As for being a "casual fan" and you apparently being some NFL hardcore fan, I bet I have still been to more NFL games than you.. whens the last time you went to see the bears play?

and before you say anythnig, No I'm not bullying you or targeting you, i'm just replying to the question that YOU asked me.

Last time I saw the Bears play was 3yrs ago when they came to play at wembley stadium for one of the international series games. I have seen them play once in Chicago 21 years ago in October 1993. I've been a bears fan for 29yrs since 1985/1986 season, so I'm definately a hardcore bears fan

This is the first season I have followed the NFL. Enjoying it a lot Smile I don't have a team.... although I have enjoyed watching the Eagles and in particular Sproles.

^^^
recommend you do pick a NFL team as you will enjoy watching the nfl more than you already do. I picked my team Chicago Bears because when I first started watching the nfl in 1985, they were one of the top teams in the nfl and won the superbowl in my 1st year as a bears fan. have supported them ever since and have been lucky enough to have seen them play twice, once in Chicago and once at Wembley Stadium

Don't forget today's Thanksgiving day in the USA.

And they like to celebrate by eating lots of turkey and watching American football (I've watched too many Friends episodes).

Matches start tonight at 5:30 with Rammy's Chicago at Detroit

^^^^
I've been in the us when it's been thanksgiving and yep they like to eat lots of turkey and the trimmings and then slob out in front of the tv and watch the American football that is on.

will be watching all 3 games today, mainly of course focusing on Chicago's game this evening (uk time) at Detroit. Chicago are on a 2 game winning streak and the lions are on a 2 game losing streak. so it will be an interesting game

game of the day for me has to be Seahawks @ 49ers, both are 7 - 4 so both teams really need the win to stand a good chance of making the playoffs as it's likely the Cardinals will be there this season. Meaning realistically only either Seahawks or 49'rs will make the playoffs with 1 missing out.

Chicago at the moment losing 17-14 with 3 min to go in 1st half. Even so, the Bears playing well I think

Update: Chicago losing 24-14 at halftime. Chicago was better in the 1st quarter and Detroit had the better 2nd quarter. Overall bears playing well

Lions with a good win over the bears today, I think that's finally the end of Chicago's playoff hopes, Lions pretty much dominated throughout and deserved to win. 17 - 34
