Lived and worked in Manchester. Where does it matter where I live. I work with fans of Newcastle, Sunderland, Liverpool, West Ham and Spurs. None of whom were born or have lived in those places. Pointless statement troll

No its that the spanish deadline finished midnight last night they didnt complete on time Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin apparently the main sticking point was united didnt want to sell unless they could get another keeper in think Real used there keeper Valdez at last min as a sweetner. in spain there is no extension available to get a close deal done so thats fucked till least Jan

Why is this years transfer deadline times so fucked up i mean its 6pm tonight usally 11 pm english time midnight european time.

not sure if spanish loan deals can be done could be a way to get rid of de gea and then file proper paperwork in Jan window

loved this though

@Bytor
Don't think that statement was totally pointless even if he were wrong in regard to your affiliation with Man Utd.
There are plenty of people who live over here who support various American football teams. If for example you grew up watching American football and supported the patriots I'm sure the Americans would find that a lot more reasonable than bring born and bread in georgia and supporting them.
Like wise with the football. I think if you live in Australia or Ireland for example and support Man Utd that totally reasonable. Even if you are a born and bred Londoner it's fine if you support Man Utd if it is passed down through the family.
It's the people who are born and bred londoners or other areas with no ties to Manchester what so ever, that support Man Utd that are most people's target for ridicule.
I have a very close friend who supports Man Utd. He would not be able to point out Manchester on the map. Believe me we never get tired of reminding him that, especially after a few pints. The fact that 1) he never gets defensive about it and 2 he passionately supports his local team Concorde rangers saves him from further ridicule!!!!!!!!!!

I on the other hand use to support real Madrid but they were crap last season now I support Barcelona!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joking aside I have supported WestHam all my life and have suffered 4 relegations with them. Not won a trophy for 35 years. Part and parcel of being a football fan.

I always previously saw Man Utd as a slick organisation.
I remember when Van Nistliroy first failed a medical with them. Their medical department diagnosed that he was one knock away from a season ending injury. Psv thought it was a try on and took him back. First day of training he went down with a serious season ending injury with minimal contact. I thought wow these boys at Man Utd really know what they are talking about.
After seeing them insist that the team did not need immediate rebuilding after ferguson retired as well as the subsequent over spending I'm really convinced that people there have not got a clue what they are doing. Lucky for them they have rich backers is all I can say. What the hell was Woodward playing at with Dea Gea?

RE: Transfers, Summer 2015 - HannahsPet - 01-09-2015 12:15

Wow the more that is revealled about the de gea transfer the more its a costly fuck up. weird messages coming from la liga the president is saying the paperwork arrived 28 mins late but another office in la liga that the paperwork didnt arrive at all

didnt know that De Gea's contract is up in the summer so basically Real madrid are in the driving seat and could proberly offer united anything in the summer to get him or wait and get him in the summer on a free

RE: Transfers, Summer 2015 - terence - 01-09-2015 12:21

rob wotton is a fucking knobhead!

RE: Transfers, Summer 2015 - Whynot - 01-09-2015 12:31

The De Gea deal i imagine will still go through. Forget about man utd, it is about Real Madrid, they have a different set of rules to every other club. I would put money on the deal happening.
