Spot on, its hard to pick between their match at respect or brookyln both were off the chain crazy good. I really felt invested during the fued and as you mentioned we have not ween chemistry between two wrestlers quite like they have for sometime.

Dean Malenko vs Ultimo Dragon(WCW Starrcade,09/12/96)

This opening match of the ppv was a technical marvel,Malenko and Dragon were both super workers and this effort showcased their incredible skills.Just proves that height and muscularity doesn't matter as long as you can tell a story.

Last Luchador Standing Match

King Cuerno vs Fenix

An electric atmosphere in the Temple heightened the drama in this terrific bout as Cuerno and Fenix cut a tremendous pace from the start.High impact, high risk and unique acrobatic moves were the order of the day, backed up by vicious brawling. The huge bump Cuerno took for the finish was a sight to behold.

CM Punk vs Jeff Hardy - TLC match, Summerslam 2009

This was for the now defunct World Heavyweight Championship which was the main prize on the Smackdown roster, with Hardy coming in to the event as the champion. Just about every aspect of the tables, ladders and chairs were used, including the announcers table. There was an awesome Swanton dive from Hardy off the top of the ladder, and then at the end when Punk won, he's standing over the beaten Hardy with the belt raised high. The lights suddenly go out, come back on and Punk looks down at Hardy again - only it's not Hardy anymore. The Undertaker is lying in his place! The Deadman has returned - he sits up and sends Punk down to the mat with a chokeslam.

It's a great TLC match which utilized all the best moves in the scenario, capped off with a genuinely surprising return from the Undertaker in the ending.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock(WM19,30/03/03)

The match that really should have been booked as the main event to improve the lower than expected ppv buy rate saw a battered Stone Cold lock up with The Rock for the last time at a wrestlemania,it would also prove to be the final match of Austin's colourful career. In terms of muscularity, the Rattlesnake never looked better but, inside it was a different story, his body was finally succumbing to the effects of a severe neck injury sustained at Summerslam '97.The two biggest names of all time managed to pull off a dramatic, psychical, near falls filled thriller which came to an amazing climax which saw The Rock use three Rock Bottoms to finally pin Austin.Although it hadn't been revealed on television,it's obvious when watching now that Stone Cold's prolonged exit from the ring was his way of saying goodbye.

Simple as the thread title says.

What was the last match you watched, its rating out of 5 and thoughts.

I will start.

IWGP Intercontinental Championship (NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10)

Shinsuke Nakamura v. AJ Styles.

Phenomenal match pardon the pun, their last match together before heading to WWE.

4.5/5.

I know you put this on a while back, but I've just watched it now.IncredibleSmile

Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles WWE Fastlane(21/02/16)

A vast improvement on their previous tv efforts where you could clearly see and hear Jericho calling spots. The fluidity lasted until the blown ending where both guys had to improvise on the spot.Credit to Jericho who conducted himself well throughout the fued in terms of buliding Styles up and for putting him over strongly.

WCW Worldwide(13/06/92)

TV Title Match

Barry Windham(champ) vs Stunning Steve Austin

Generation 3:16 who thought Austin was nothing before he became Stone Cold would fail to recognise their man as he tied up with Windham in a fine technical tv match that shows that Austin was always good. The pair traded fundamental holds and punches in a contest that was marred only by a cheap finish, babyfaces rarely lost clean in these days but otherwise, thoroughly entertaining stuff.
