New Zealand has just beaten Bangladesh by 75 runs

All or nothing for England now against Sri Lanka.
Win and they are through to the semi finals.
Lose and they are out.

Sri Lanka won toss and will bowl first.

A good effort by England with the bat, as 171/4 looks like a decent score on a slowish wicket. Over to England's bowlers now.

Sri Lanka reached 161/8.

England won by 10 runs and progress to the semi finals Big Grin.

It was good to see the quick bowlers holding their nerve...
Although the spinners took some tap

Unless the West Indies suffer a big defeat to Afghanistan then England will play New Zealand in Delhi for a place in the final.
England have played 2 successive matches in Delhi already while New Zealand have yet to play there so a knowledge of the conditions could be an advantage for Eoin Morgan and his men.

I still can't understand how New Zealand keep winning...
With the exception of Kane Williamson they are a team of no stars who keep over performing...

So if England do end up playing the Black Cats they will have to be at their best with bat, ball and in the field.

I guess Morgan would probably prefer West Indies than NZ

Afganistan 123-7 in their 20 overs. It shouldn't prove a problem to the West Indies...
But they don't have Chris Gayle who is being rested. And the Afgan spinners have proved useful in this form of cricket.

Well done Afghanistan beating West Indies by 6 runs.

West Indies still finish top of the group ahead of England on net run rate.
