Well done to Andy, but I wonder if those 2 extra sets tonight will cost him in the semi or the final, he doesn't want to run out of gas like he did at the French open.

The year he won Wimbledon he had to fight his way through some very tough matches. I'm a bit worried about Berdych though. He lost his way a bit but seems to have come to form in this compeition though. Certainly a dangerous customer.

Serena's just blown away her semi final opposition 6-2, 6-0.

On grass Serena is in a different league to the rest. Be very surprised if she don't beat Kerber or Venus on Saturday. She just has too much power for her opponents to handle on grass.

Angelique Kerber has beaten Venus Williams 6-4 6-4 so faces Serena in the final.

You can understand why there are people unhappy with the equal prize money. The two days of women's singles this week have been over in no time, not been very competitive and haven't provided any value for money for those with expensive tickets on the show courts

If a bloke worked 24 hrs a week and took home the same pay as a women who did 40 hrs per week doing the same job there would be hell to pay. Men's tennis is of a higher standard, more competitive and has far greater demand than women's yet they still only get the same pay. Triumph of aggressive feminism. If women went on strike and boycotted Wimbledon the event would still be going strong in 5 years. If however the men boycotted it in 5 years time Wimbledon would be suffering. Maybe if women had as many all time greats as the men do you could pardon the double standards. However the men have 3 all time greats the women have 1 in Serena.

To be fair for me having Nadal Federer, Djokovic and Murray almost guaranteed to be semi finalists for a number of years made Mens Grand Slams pretty boring until we got to semi final stage

Not really. del Porto, Murray and Wawrinka have won majors. Tsonga, Berdych have upset the apple cart plenty of times.
