England take on Luxembourg in their final World Cup Qualifying match.
They have already qualified but it's possible that a record score can be achieved.
Currently 3-0 after 30 mins.

Where are they playing?

Women's Football - Charlemagne - 30-06-2023 10:55

Chelsea have signed Canadian centre back Ashley Lawrence from PSG

Women's Football - William H Bonney - 30-06-2023 12:09

That's for the women's team though. Surely Chelsea Women news and transfers should be a separate thread.

It's the World Cup soon. It's been announced that VAR decisions will be explained by the officials.

After Emma Hayes turned down the chance to manage the Wimbledon Men's Team i didn't think we would ever see a Woman manager in the Men's game well now it will happen as Hannah Dingley has become Forest Green manager , it's only a caretaker role but we will see if she gets the job permanently.

I think many will always judge her on how tactically astute she is and she will always be judged on her results. Anyone remember the TV series that dealt with this?

I'd like to see Emma Haynes take on the England Women's team once Sarina leaves, though if GB were to qualify for Paris, I think Emma would relish that role.

The only thing that gets on my nerves with the England Women's Team is why do they have to call them The Lionesses all the time , i mean you don't get them calling the Men's Team The Three Lions all the time do you they call them by there actual name not there nickname.

I get your point of view Kingsmind and I see where your coming from but I think The Women's England team are awesome (I'm kinda going off track a bit here lol), but when they won the European Championship, that was just such a great moment in sport alround imo, they were awesome and that moment when they gatecrashed Sarina Weigman's press interview after winning the Euro 2022 was hilarious, brilliant and great camaraderie amongst all of them Big GrinSmile......but getting back to your point of calling them 'The Lionesses' - I personally don't have a problem with it - they definitely show more back bone than some of the useless '3 Lions' efforts of recent times imo.

Leah Williamson, Beth Mead and Chloe Kelly ('The 3 awesome players/Lionesses of a great team') Smile....but overall a cracking team and manager! Smile

The Lionesses has a nice ring to it imo, though others may have a different opinion which is also fine Smile.
